Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick

I have always loved Rimmel products I think they totally stand out in the drugstore with there great quality, great shades and amazing value for money so it was no surprise to me that I
loved these shadow sticks too! They are really amazing if you are in a rush and just want a base across the whole lid without spending time blending with lots of shadows or they can even double up as eyeliners. I have been using Bulletproof Beige everyday to work and it has saved me a bit of time in the morning, they are really handy to just put in your handbag so you can top up through the day too! I haven't worn the Tempting Turquoise yet but I have worn the Paranoid Purple on a night out, I used an eye primer and it stayed on all night without creasing!

These shadow sticks are very pigmented and true to colour  they are creamy and really easy to apply and blend and if used with an eye primer will stay on for a long time. As far as I know there are only 2 more shades in this collection Bad Girl Bronze and Blackmail which I will definitely be getting as I have been so impressed. Although I do wish they had a twist up as they do need sharpening.

These 5 shades are all you need to complete a day or night eye look. The two nude shades can be used as a base and the bright ones as a contour or liner. They are well worth the money at £5.99 from Boots and they are normally on 3 for 2 aswell!

Soap & Glory 3 for 2

It was my Birthday last month and as a present from my boyfriend I got these Soap & Glory body products. As the weather has been getting a little but better I have started to use my fake tan (which i will be reviewing very soon!) so I needed an exfoliator and moisturiser so I decided to try out some of these products as I have never used Soap and Glory before.

My favorite out of the three is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub I LOVE IT!! It is made with smashed brown sugar, sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains. The consistency is a bit strange and I found it a little bit messy but it really does its job. The grains are very gritty so it removes all the dead skin but the oil makes it so it isn't too harsh on the skin. I have dry and sensitive skin and this product worked really well for me. It smells very much of lime which I really like. It is £8.00 from Boots and i would really recommend you try this it will make your skin feel really soft and you will smell amazing!!

Next is The Daily Smooth Body Butter which is formulated for dry skin and I have to say this is one of the best moisturisers I have tried. It is made with Rosehip Oil and Cocoa Butter so the smell is absolutely gorgeous and the smell is long lasting too! I use this on my legs after I have shaved and it doesn't sting or make them sensitive at all. I apply this after I get out of the shower and within a few minutes it has absorbed into my skin so I can go straight to sleep without feeling sticky for ages like some do. £8.50 from Boots.

Lastly I got Heel Genius which I was expecting great things from and unfortunately this product did absolutely nothing for me! I really didn't like the smell to start of with it is supposed to be fruity but to me it smelt like medicine! The formula was very wet and it took forever to absorb into my feet, it says you should sleep in cotton socks and let it work through the night but i don't really like the sound of that. It finally absorbed and to be honest there was little difference i continued to use it for a week and there was still no change. I wouldn't repurchase this but it hasn't put me off trying some other products as the other two were amazing!

My Favorite Lipstick

My favorite drugstore make up brand has to be Rimmel, I would even say some of there products are better than some high end brands. Most blogs I read say if your on a budget go for these drugstore products but I say buy these products anyway because they are just as good or maybe even better!!

The lipsticks from Rimmel are amazing. I have quite alot of Mac Lipsticks and I do love them alot but when I look through my collection I have nearly double Rimmel Lipsticks and that is through choice not budget.
Yesterday I went to Boots and swatched about 10 lipsticks on my hand and to be honest I could have bought all of them but my boyfriend was with me so I had to narrow it down to two. It is 3 for 2 so I got Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation too ( which i will be reviewing in the next few days).

The first colour i picked up was one from the new Kate Collection, which is a collection with 5 shades which are all on trend for summer i got shade 20 and it is a bright, very pigmented Fushia Pink. It is very bold and will definitely make you stand out but I think it will look amazing with my summer dresses or even to brighten up a LBD.
The second is a lovely dusky pink called Vintage Pink 180, it is from the moisture renew collection. I suffer from dry chapped lips and this doesn't dry them out at all in fact it doesn't keep them moisturised in the day. It has an SPF 20 and has vitamin A,C and E.

My Top Three Foundation Primers

My Top Three Foundation Primers

My absolute favourite has to be my Nivea Express Hydration Primer . They have one for dry/sensitive skin which is the one i get and they also do one for normal/combination skin. I have been using this for about two weeks now and it really is amazing i have very dry skin and normally need a heavy moisturiser aswell as my primer but this  primer has been enough.
It has a light gel like consistency and absorbs into my skin very quickly allowing me to apply my foundation pretty much straight away. It smells very nice like i think most Nivea products do. It really does  keep my skin hydrated throughout the day  but i'm not too sure that it helps my make up stay on.
I think this product is just a really nice light mosturiser that gives the impact of a heavy night  cream but i don't think it keeps my make up in place all day.
It is £3.99 from Superdrug at the moment as there is a £1.00 off and this is for a 50ml pot. If you have dry skin i would definitely give this a try.

Next up is Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer which is more of a cream primer. I have actually finished this primer now and i would have re purchased if i hadn't got the Nivea one. I think this primer really does help keep my foundation in place all day but it isn't as hydrating as my Nivea one. I did love this primer whilst i was using it but know i have found the Nivea one i don't think i would go back to this again but i would definitely suggest you give it a go. It is £6.99 from boots for a 30ml.

Lastly is one that i haven't used too much over the past month but i did wear it on my Birthday Night out and that is the Lumi Magique Base from L'Oreal. This is a light cream consistency but you can see when you pump some out that is has a slight shimmer to it, not like glittery but when you apply it to your face it really does give you a glow and even when you apply your foundation on top you can see the glow. I have dry skin and so it is nice for me to have a slight glow to my face but i wouldn't recommend this is you have oily skin. This one really didn't help my make up stay on all night i had to touch up throughout the night!! It is £9.99 from Boots for a 20ml.

Hope this helps and please let me know of your best primers for dry skin x

Barry M Hi Shine Gel Effect Nail Polish Review

At the end of every month i get excited to see all the monthly favourite videos on Youtube and these nail polishes have definitely had there place in nearly every video i watch and every blog i read. They all said amazing things about these nail polishes so i knew i had to try them out for myself.

I have had professional gel nails done so many times and they cost about £20 for a set!! Now i have tried these Barry M polishes i will never go back to that again "i am saving money because each bottle is £3.99 and usually they are on 3 for 2 at Boots i tell this to my boyfriend so he will let me buy more and more colours!! ;)

My three favourite shades are Lychee which is a really nice nude, Blueberry which is such a gorgeous colour its almost a neon blue and Green Berry which again is a lovely bright minty green.

These nail polishes apply really well and even with one coat they look amazing, i normally use two coats if i have the time and they just look so thick (in a good way) and very shiny. I change my nail colour every few days but these have never chipped when i take them off.

These really are great nail polishes for the money and i want to try all the shades.. which is your favourite one? xx
